Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Maintenance Engineer role at a large manufacturing facility near Wrexham. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and preserve quality, working with production teams and suppliers. Responsibilities

• Carry out planned plant maintenance and promptly address abnormalities to minimise production impact
• Coordinate with mill production team to resolve breakdowns and interruptions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for legal compliance and safety
• Allocate resources with mill management to meet changing needs
• Liaise across operational areas to ensure information flow and meet customer requirements
• Manage site waste to environmental agency standards
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, quality and performance
• Undertake tasks related to mill operation as directed by management

Key requirements

• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in related engineering qualifications
• 18th edition (mechanical-biased engineers)
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Computer literate with Microsoft programmes
