Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor in a well‑established main contractor, you will drive commercial success on mid‑sized projects. You’ll manage cost control and commercial processes for fit‑out and refurbishment works, ensuring value and profitability. Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will shape project outcomes and reporting. This role offers a stable permanent position in Kent with a clear path to senior commercial ownership and impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial aspects of projects up to 5m from start to completion
• Manage cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor cost control for fit‑out and refurbishment works
• Prepare and present regular commercial reports to the Commercial Director
• Identify risks, report changes in scope or cost, and implement mitigation strategies

Key requirements

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects
• Experience with fit‑out and refurbishment projects
• Ability to report to and liaise with the Commercial Director
