Cyber Sr Associate looking for partnership (Insurance focus)

Overview

In this role you drive the cyber and insurance–focused practice at a City law firm, leveraging an established insurance client base. You will advise on cyber coverage, manage breach responses, and defend regulatory actions and compensation claims. You join a collaborative, political-free culture and work with cross-functional teams to shape the cyber-insurance offering. This is a strategic path toward partnership, with a focus on growing the practice and strengthening client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise on cyber coverage and insurance-related issues
• Assist in breach prevention and incident response
• Defend regulatory enforcement actions
• Defend compensation claims in cyber incidents
• Respond to breaches and coordinate breach management
• Leverage existing insurance client base to grow the practice

Key requirements

• Cyber senior associate with 10+ PQE
• Experience within a Top 50 UK law firm
• Strong cyber contacts within the insurance sector
