Technical Director – Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

As Technical Director, you lead a large, multidisciplinary electrical building services team on landmark projects across Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects across key markets
• Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical building services design and compliance
• Review design calculations, specifications, models, and documentation for quality and coordination
• Build and maintain client relationships and develop a strong project pipeline
• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary services engineers and foster a high-performance culture
• Strengthen Building Services capability across ANZ and contribute to strategy and growth

Key requirements

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with 20+ years in consultancy delivering complex building services
• Chartership with Engineers Australia (CPEng) or equivalent registration; eligible for state registration (RPEQ/RPEV)
• Extensive technical expertise in discipline design with deep knowledge of Australian codes and standards
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven project and commercial management leadership of multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrated leadership, emotional intelligence, and team-building abilities
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility for Defence Security Clearance preferred
