Overview

In this Senior Site Manager role, you will lead delivery on high-volume new-build residential schemes in Milton Keynes. You will oversee traditional and RC-frame construction, ensuring projects progress safely, on time, and to client expectations. You’ll work closely with a Project Manager and a full site team to drive quality, value, and collaboration. This opportunity offers hands-on site leadership with exposure to multiple residential developments within a reputable main contractor. You’ll contribute to a culture of development, safety, and consistent project success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of new-build residential schemes from inception to completion
• Lead and motivate on-site teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities
• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance on site
• Coordinate with Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure seamless progress
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships and report progress
• Ensure compliance with CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid requirements
• Manage site logistics, procurement interfaces, and handovers
• Identify and mitigate risks to protect schedule and budget

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering residential schemes for a main contractor
• Experience on RC frame and traditional build projects
• Strong man-management and leadership capabilities
• Excellent construction knowledge across all trades and disciplines
• First Aid, SMSTS and CSCS qualifications
• Willingness to travel to Milton Keynes on a daily basis
