Senior Manager Key Accounts

We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Manager Key Accounts to join our BU Northern Europe team.

Reporting to the Sales Director UK and Ireland for B&I, this role will lead a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring the Merchant Sales Channel aligns with Company Sales and Marketing objectives. The holder will lead major Key Account negotiations, retain existing distribution channels, and develop new growth opportunities, while managing senior relationships with major distributor partners.

Responsibilities

• Positively engage in Health and Safety following all guidelines at all times.
• Deliver profitable growth within the Wavin product ranges.
• Plan, lead, support, and advise on all senior level negotiations within all the Key Account groups.
• Ensure that all team activities are aligned to the sales objectives and strategic direction of the business.
• Develop and implement UK sales strategies to grow specified products in line with overall strategy.
• Successfully lead your team in line with business procedures throughout the HR lifecycle.
• Ensure that all relationships with key customers are maintained and enhanced in line with business strategy.
• Develop and maintain commercial terms authorisation procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent training, coaching and people leadership credentials.
• Significant building products or construction industry experience.
• Strong, accurate sales forecasting acumen.
• The ability to successfully negotiate agreements at a national level.
• Solid understanding, knowledge and experience of managing the sales process from ‘cradle-to-grave’ within our industry.
• Success in driving data‑led, action‑oriented plans to grow and drive teams.
• Dynamism, ambition and energy with strategic decision‑making skills and the ability to act quickly and decisively in the best interests of the business.
• Strong organisation and planning skills, flexibility and tenacity with first‑class influencing, negotiation and persuading experience.
