Estates Officer

Equans is looking for 3x Estates Officer

Location: Rotherham (Permanent, Full time). Pay: competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Planning and prioritising work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation at all times.
• Undertake any training identified through the performance review process, continually seeking improvement and developing best practice.
• Seasonal cyclical works: fly‑tipping, graffiti removal, grass cutting, hedge cutting, moss clearance, clearing of communal bins, needle removal, flea eradication.
• Adhere to and apply legislation and Equans procedures as appropriate.
• Understand the aims and objectives of Equans and your service area, together with your role in service delivery.
• Participate in a team‑working approach to the allocation of duties, supporting and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.
• Ensure the Borough is kept free of litter and is well presented.
• Clean and tidy streets free from debris, well‑kept grassland and graffiti not visible.

Who are we looking for?

• Graffiti Removal experience
• Hazardous Waste Regulations knowledge
• Experience with Lantra Brush cutter/Trimmers
• Experience with Lantra L2 Chainsaw & Cross‑cutting CS30
• Experience with Lantra L2 Safe Use of Pesticides & Safe Application using Handheld Equip. PA1 & PA6AW
