The Company
MJM Industrial is currently recruiting experienced Handymen to work at Heathrow Airport, covering both airside and landside areas.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on position, ideal for a practical all-rounder with experience across multiple trades. You will be responsible for carrying out general building maintenance works to a high standard across active site environments.
The role involves working a mixture of days, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Duties will vary depending on project requirements but will include, not be limited to:
– Carrying out general building fabric maintenance, including patch repairs, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating
– Completing reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and project work within agreed timeframes
– Repairing floor and wall coverings
– Undertaking ceiling tile repairs and replacements
– Completing additional building and installation works as required
– Responding to client queries, reporting defects, and providing site updates during service visits
– Accurately completing all work-related documentation, including inspection reports and remedial works logs
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you must have:
– Experience working within a maintenance or facilities management environment
– A valid CSCS Card
– Flexibility to work, days, nights, and weekends (Uplifts in place for nights and weekends)
– Must be able to provide 5 years history to obtain clearance for Heathrow.
Desirable
– Multi-Trades experience
