FLT Warehouse Operative
Ideal Recruit are looking for an organised and reliable FLT Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team.
This is a hands-on role involving the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer orders, operating a forklift, loading and unloading vehicles and containers, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean and well organised.
Pay and shift:
09:00-17:00
£14.95 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Driving a forklift safely and efficiently.* Preparing and picking daily customer orders.* Printing and processing daily order paperwork.* Packing customer orders securely onto pallets.* Loading artic wagons.* Unloading 40ft High Cube (40HC) containers via a loading ramp.* Assisting with general loading and unloading duties.* Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.* Following all health and safety procedures.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a valid forklift truck (FLT) licence (preferred).* Have previous warehouse experience.* Be organised with excellent attention to detail.* Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.* Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.* Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.* Be reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
