Commercial Property Solicitor

Overview

An exciting opportunity to join an established and well-respected law firm in its Commercial Real Estate team. My client is seeking a qualified solicitor with 8+ years PQE in Commercial Property/Real Estate, ideally at Senior Associate or Partner level. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team with ample opportunity for progression, working from either London or Guildford. The purpose of the role is to manage a varied caseload of complex commercial property matters.

Qualifications

8+ years PQE in Commercial Property/Real Estate, with a proven track record of winning clients, servicing the clients of others, meeting strict deadlines and timetables, and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for managing own caseload with supervision
• Ensure case management records are maintained
• Support other fee earners where necessary
• Show flexibility to assist with cases and instructions outside of normal working hours when required
• Meet chargeable hours targets
• Assist with the training and development of junior members of the team
• Handle high‑value transactions independently and efficiently
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and business development
• Drive high standards of service delivery and commercial performance
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of property and transactional documents
