Role Overview
LGV Day Driver – Operational Logistics for Water Recycling – Grimsby (North East Lincolnshire) & surrounding area. Permanent, full‑time position with hourly rate starting from £20.78, overtime and fuel and performance bonuses available.
Shift Pattern
Option 1: Day Shifts – 04:00 to 05:00 start, 12‑hour average shifts, rotating on a fixed 3‑week pattern.Option 2: Twin Shift Pattern – Week 1 Early Shift (Monday‑Saturday, 04:30 start); Week 2 Late Shift (Monday‑Friday, 13:30 start), repeating on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport waste products between operational sites.
- Work closely with central logistics teams and site managers.
- Ensure compliance with Anglian Water’s safety and operational standards.
- Maintain three points of contact when working at height (e.g. on ladders).

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 LGV Licence (Manual) (C+E).
- Fully completed CPC.
- Proven LGV driving experience, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work at height and pass occupational health checks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of an essential service.
Safety and Compliance
All drivers are subject to drug and alcohol testing and a routine driver assessment before starting and may be subject to random testing throughout employment.
