You’ll work on a wide variety of projects, building and testing specialist equipment while becoming an expert within a niche sector. The company continues to grow and is expanding its electrical team.
In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for the electrical build, wiring, testing and fault finding of bespoke machinery from a modern workshop.
This role would suit an Electrical Technician with experience building industrial machinery or control panels who is looking for long-term career development, specialist training and the chance to work on bespoke automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Electrical build and wiring of bespoke automated machinery.
- Workshop-based testing and fault finding of specialist equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on automation projects and commissioning.
The Person
- Experience with industrial machinery or control panel wiring.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical components such as PLCs, sensors, motors or drives.
- Based within commutable distance of Cambridge.
