Position: Bendi / Flexi Forklift Driver (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Wormingford, Essex (approx 20 minutes from Colchester, Sudbury & Halstead)
Pay: £13.77 per hour + £0.50 per hour shift premium after 9pm (£14.27 per hour)
Contract type: Temp-to-Perm
Start: Immediate starts available
About the Role
As a key member of the warehouse team, you will support the operation by moving stock and materials safely and accurately throughout the site, including loading/unloading deliveries, using handheld scanners, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Bendi/Flexi Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload deliveries
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Use handheld scanners to record stock movements accurately
- Carry out stock replenishment and inventory movements
- Support the wider warehouse operation
- Complete housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Assist with manual handling where required
- Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures
Working Hours
Monday to Friday; no weekends; permanent shift 4:00 pm – 1:00 am; first 3 days training 10:00 am – 7:00 pm; consistent hours; excellent work‑life balance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced Bendi/Flexi Forklift Driver
- Valid Bendi/Flexi Forklift Licence
- Reliable, punctual and committed
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
- Accurate, with excellent attention to detail
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport due to rural location and shift pattern
