Creative account manager

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking for a creative account manager to join us as an essential part of the client service team, working on one of our agency’s biggest accounts. This role is critical for transforming client goals into engaging creative work.

We are looking for an additional account manager to act as extension of our client’s marketing team, to build client relationships and a deep understanding of client strategy in order to grow and develop Linney’s influence, ensuring that we continue to challenge and innovate, both in the short and long term.

The ideal candidate will understand our client’s world and be proactive in responding quickly to briefs, problem-solving and thinking creatively. They will work with a team of project managers, often as the conduit between a project and the client’s wider objectives.

They will have experience in and a fresh-thinking understanding of the creative world. Previous creative agency experience or experience managing complex projects across several channels is essential. Experience in creative campaigns, print, social, film and digital will be beneficial.

The role is based mostly at our client’s head office in London, with travel to the Linney office in Mansfield as required.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and understand their business goals, translating client needs into actionable, high-quality creative briefs.

They will need to be happy to lead on challenging briefs and contribute to strategic planning, ensuring that workflows are efficient and effective, as well as identifying opportunities to grow Linney’s influence.

Essential experience and skills:

  • Experience in a creative or integrated agency, or relevant client-side role
  • Strong interpersonal skills for senior-level client management
  • A strong understanding of account and project profitability, budgeting and commercial growth
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Proven track record of managing integrated campaigns with multiple teams and complex deliverables
