Graduate Academic Mentor – Outstanding Brent School – Salaried Teacher Training

An ‘Outstanding’ graded Ofsted secondary school based in the heart of Brent is looking for Academic Mentors to join their vibrant and high‑achieving secondary school for a September 2026 start.

Following successful placement of over 20 graduates in recent years, the Head Teacher is eager to recruit the next cohort of graduates to inspire and raise attainment across the school.

Responsibilities

• Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
• Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across various subjects – dependent on your subject specialism
• Support class teachers across different subjects and contribute to students’ academic development

Qualifications

• Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable university
• Aspiring secondary teachers encouraged to apply
