Our Football Academy develops young athletes to their highest potential in partnership with Eastbourne Borough Football Club and the Chelsea Foundation. We provide high quality teaching, learning, and enrichment activities to support students in their athletic and academic development, while fostering a professional environment that encourages growth, resilience, and peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement strength and conditioning programs tailored to the needs of football players to enhance athletic performance and reduce injury risk.
- Collaborate with Football Academy staff to align conditioning with training schedules and team objectives.
- Act as a Teaching Assistant to make the role full time, supervise the College Gym, and deliver enrichment sessions for students.
- Monitor and assess player progress, adjust programs as needed, and maintain records of training plans.
Qualifications
- Degree in a related area.
- Football coaching qualifications and an interest in coaching one of the College teams would be advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS certificate required; online safeguarding checks are conducted for shortlisted candidates.
