Second in English: Lead Teaching & Curriculum Growth

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded Northampton school to appoint a Second in English, starting September 2026. The post leads an ambitious English department, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available where suitable.

You will work with the Head of English to drive teaching standards, support curriculum development, monitor student progress, and help raise attainment across the department in a collaborative environment that values staff wellbeing.
