NewChapterTuitionislookingforanexperiencedSpecialistSENTutortosupportayoungpersonwithSevereLearningDifficulties(SLD),Autism(ASC)andADHD,whoisnon-verbalandpresentswithsocialandcommunicationdifficulties.
Thisisarewardinglong-termopportunityforatutorwhoispassionateaboutprovidingpersonalised,relationship-ledsupportandhelpingyoungpeopleovercomebarrierstolearning.
Youwillworkaspartofa3:1supportteam,alongsidetwoexperiencedSupportWorkers,deliveringstructured,engagingsessionsthatpromotecommunication,emotionalregulation,independenceandlifeskills.
TheRole
AsaSpecialistSENTutor,youwill:
- Deliverpersonalised1:1teachingtailoredtothelearner’sEHCPoutcomesandindividualneeds.
- Buildapositive,trustingrelationshipthroughconsistency,patienceandaperson-centredapproach.
- Supportcommunication,engagementandemotionalregulationthroughouteachsession.
- Deliveractivitiesusingstrategiesincluding:

- Structuredgamesandplay-basedlearning
- Bubbleplay
- Lifeskillsactivities
- Adaptsessionstomeetthelearner’scommunicationstyle,interestsandsensoryneeds.
